Jennifer Lopez aka J.Lo by the world started off in an all-girls school and moved into a legal office job until one day when she decided to make a living out of dance and performing arts. She did dance shows and was seen in many unaccredited dance roles in the background for many great artists of that time like Janet Jackson. She starred in a few movies which got her favorable attention but her first main serious role which clicked for her was her title role of Selena in which she fit into the role of the Latin pop singer really well. The intense auditioning process through which she was put through paid out well and she won the golden globe award for her amazing performance. She had a string of films lined up for her after Selena of which ‘Anaconda’, ‘Out of sight’ and ‘Shall we dance?’ were critically acclaimed and further spread her success.
Lopez then turned her into music and released her first album in 1999 called ‘on the 6’ which is a reference to the street where she used to live when she was young. The album featured Spanish songs as well which catered to the US audience as well as the Spanish minorities there and made her a number one favorite overnight. The Latin sounding songs were of a new genre then and became an immediate success launching her into the heights. The song ‘Waiting for tonight’ released around the end of 1999 shows 
the progression into the new millennium of 2000 with the artists playing around the time square, became a huge hit with the people then and got her nominated for the Grammy’s.
The time her second album ‘J.Lo’ made it to the top of the bill boards, her movie ‘the wedding planner’ was in the first spot in the box office making her the only actress with a record of having a movie as well as her album at the number one position at the same time.
The olive skinned beauty is also famous for her many relationship’s with famous people like Ben Affleck , Sean Combs. After two failed marriages she finally settled for Marc Anthony and the couple have been happy ever since. She even said that she felt like she graduated out of a singing school only when she sang a loving note for her husband’s birthday party. The 40 year old singer/actress says that she feels gifted that she has two beautiful children and that herself and her husband are obsessed with them.
J.Lo is known for her curvaceous figure and has never been the one to fall under the pressure of growing thin for Hollywood. She says she feels comfortable in her own skin and does not want to join the bandwagon of ‘thin is in’ regime which is gripping the industry nowadays. Lopez is known for her varied hairstyles which she sports at the shows which range from blunt cut fringes to tight curled wisps. Recently she was seen sporting wispy bangs and straightened hair with her usual long dressing gowns with open backs and veiling fronts and figure hugging fabrics. She is definately a yummy mummy to admire, the elegant way about her even to the jewellery she wears she is particular. With the latest fashion of the charm bracelet it would be nice to see her in the elegant range of nomination charms , which could encompass all her memorable moments in life.
